These are our replacement bookmarks for your missal or bible. They are intended to slide into the spine of the book and allow you to mark your pages once again! The main photograph shows three bookmarks, this is intended to demonstrate that we can make different width tabs. The marker you receive will be the quantity and width you have selected.
Custom-made to beautifully replace or add to any missal/book ribbons, these elegant satin ribbon bookmarks on a leather tab are perfect for referencing. All ribbons are 25 cm long (just under 10 inches) and 6mm (1/4 inch), except for the 1 and 1.5 cm tab which have 4 x 3 mm (1/8")wide ribbons. Colour of the ribbons will depend on availability. If you wish them to be longer and/or specific colours, please order the custom size. If you choose the custom option, please do send me a message with your requirements.
The markers easily inserts and securely fits into the missal's spine.
The 1 and 1.5 cm tabs have 4 x 3mm ribbons.
The 2 cm (3/4 inch), 2.5 cm and 3 cm wide tabs have 4 ribbons.
The 3.5 cm (1 3/8 inch), 4 cm and 5 cm wide tabs have 5 ribbons.
The 6 cm (2 1/4 inch) wide one has 6 ribbons.
To choose the best fit for your book, measure the book's spine and choose a tab size 1/2 cm to 1 cm smaller than the spine.

Prompt delivery and accurate custom made request
I recently purchased a new travel bible, however, it didn't have those ribbon bookmarks similar to the ones in my daily missal. I bought it anyway and didn't think about it further. Then, purely by chance, a few days later I received an Etsy notice about an unrelated item that I was interested in. You can imagine my surprise that included with their notice of that item, were others I might also find to my liking. One of them was the ribbon bookmarks with instructions on how to install it in my new bible! Thanks Etsy...and thanks LeatherMissalCovers for offering something that I sorely needed!!

Lovely book ark, exactly what I needed for my diary. My only complaint is the ribbons are just a little shorter than I would like.
