Made from soft, genuine leather, this practical and elegant pouch is ideal for taking your prayer book or missal to Mass. There is also room to carry other essentials alongside your book, such as a mantilla, rosary or prayer cards, helping to keep everything together while providing protection from the weather and everyday wear.
Genuine Leather Prayer Book Pouch
These carefully handcrafted leather pouches are made from genuine leather between 0.6 and 1 mm thick. Each piece of leather is naturally unique, so the colour, shade, grain and feel can vary from one pouch to another.
Natural blemishes and variations may occur and are not considered imperfections. Instead, they are part of the character of genuine leather and help give each individual pouch its own unique appearance.
The leather pouch closes with two snap poppers and is available in three standard sizes: small, medium and large.
Colours
You can choose your preferred colour from eight available options. The final photograph shows examples of the colours, arranged from top to bottom:
- Blue
- Navy Blue
- Blue/Grey
- Black
- Brown
- Bottle Green
- Red
- Burgundy
Standard Size Leather Pouches
The standard sizes are designed to accommodate a range of prayer books, missals and other books.
- Small: Holds books up to 18.5 cm in height, 10 cm in width and a maximum of 4 cm in depth.
- Medium: Holds books up to 18.5 cm in height, 11.5 cm in width and a maximum of 4.5 cm in depth.
- Large: Holds books up to 19 cm in height, 13.5 cm in width and a maximum of 6 cm in depth.
Custom Size Leather Pouches
Custom sizes are also available. Please see the measurement diagram in the photographs when checking which size you require.
- Small: 12.5 cm and under (4 7/8" and under)
- Medium: From 12.5 cm and up to 17.5 cm (4 7/8" to 6 7/8")
- Large: From 17.5 cm and up to 22 cm (6 7/8" to 8 6/8"); height up to 22 cm
- XL Custom: Width + depth from 20 to 24 cm (7.8" to 9.4"); height up to 23 cm (9")
- XXL Custom: Width + depth from 24 to 28 cm (9.4" to 11"); height up to 28 cm (11")

The quality and feel of the leather Isabel uses in making these beautiful Bible pouch’s plus her work skills cannot in my opinion be bettered. This is my second Bible pouch from Isabel, The first was for a smaller bible, this one is for my large NIV Schuyler bible. I gave her the exact measurements and asked for a close fit and it’s perfect. I’ve had many other bible cases and none can compare to Isabel’s work. The pictures on site really don’t do justice to the product. I would not hesitate to use Isabel’s fine services again.

The pouch matches the description and I love the red/crimson color. It hasextra space, as requested, to hold icon cards and keeps my 3 volune THM mini horologion (think Eastern breviary) together and protected. Love it and plan to buy any new bible covers or pouches from this business!
