Institute of Christ the King Badge / ICKSP Fascia Patch

This embroidered badge features the coat of arms of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest (ICKSP). It is available in two versions: a classic black version and a coloured version.

The black version is particularly suited to use on the fascia belt worn over the cassock. It has an iron-on backing to make positioning the badge straightforward, although we recommend sewing around the badge after ironing it in place for a stronger and more secure attachment.

The coloured version features the same coat of arms with its colours and is intended as a general ICKSP badge. It can be attached to suitable clothing, bags, backpacks and other fabric items.

The ICKSP coat of arms

The coat of arms reflects the Institute's devotion to Christ the King and the Immaculate Conception. The globe, or orbis, represents the universal Kingship of Christ. The blue background refers to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the principal patron of the Institute. The fleur-de-lis represents purity and also reflects the Institute's connection with Florence, near which its motherhouse and seminary are located.
